I just checked out all of the photos so far - what great blocks and wonderful choices of fabrics.  I  was doing 30's a few years back and these make me want to get back into them if I ever finish the big quilts I am working on for Christmas! LOL!!!

I am working on the Bunny Blocks but obviously not hard enough, I haven't finished one yet!!!  Now the children are back at school, it will be an easy one to take to activities while I wait!!!
Lovely blocks that have been shown - perhaps I will get some photos here soon!

It tells all. Very easy

The image button you are referring to is used to create an internet link to a photo already on the web.

Hi Karen!
How fun to find your post here!!  I was just remembering our meet-and-greet in San Francisco on Labor Day weekend a few years ago, and our trip to the deYoung Museum to see the Gees Bend Quilts.   Such a fun time, meeting you and and your sister.   Fabric shopping afterward at Black Cat, and dinner on the coast.   I hope we can do that again one day!

I am also saving the patterns for this series on my computer.   I look at them this morning and wonder what I'm waiting for??!!!   They are sooo cute!!   Thats it!   This is going on my to-do list this very week.   Once I have them laid out, I could easily take one in my bag to work and put in a few stitches everyday and before I know it, I'll be all caught up.

Pat, I love your blocks and the rick-rack basket handles!  I have lots of pretty 30s fabrics, but just checked and I don't have any browns either.   I wonder if it is because they didn't make many?   Or if I just don't buy brown fabric??
Guess I need to take a trip to the quilt shop to get an answer.   I wonder what I can find there!!???

Let us know what kind of browns you find! Most 30s are so medium in color... maybe medium brown is just too mousey.... the ONE piece I finally found is light... not rich dark like what I used!

The september block:
A chenille blue scottie with a  pink eyelet coat. She's feminine with bows and rosebuds and a heart necklace. My exotic apples come from the mystical world of blue scotties. :-)
BTW my dachshunds almost went into revolt at the site of a scottie on a quilt block and I had to promise them that i would make them a whole quilt of nothing but wiener dogs in the future. Dachshunds are so pushy!  Hee Hee!!!
Love those dachshunds

pat, I think I am going to TRY to make up a wiener dog quilt. I am a very bad artist but I going to give it a try. Any suggestions or art lessons?

My dachsies said they would supply all the stinky breath kisses I could stand for encouragement.  Grin

pat,
I really LOVE your farmers market quilt and I want to do it but it would be SOOOO much more fun if I could get some other folks to join me and show the blocks like your other games. Have you done something with the farmers market quilt before and I missed it? Is that why its free on your site?
