I really enjoyed the first two novels in Marie Bostwick's Cobbled Court Quilt series, "A Single Thread" and "A Thread of Truth". The characters speak to a quilter's heart, and the plots are wonderfully unpredictable.  Can't wait for the 3rd book!

I have a couple started now, reading The Lover's Knot, A Someday Quilts Mystery" by Clare O'Donohue, too early into it to tell yet if it's just a gratuitous quilt based novel or if it actually has a good story.  Also, on the third of the Twillight Series while on the treadmill everyday.  I didn't think I could get into the vampire thing but apparently I'm hooked.

I just finished reading Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet.  I really enjoyed it, and it was truly bitter and sweet!

I am sooo excited that I finally figured out how to log in here.  I was missing you guys.  I don't have any great new suggestions right now because I am still busy reading from the list I have been compiling.  Hope to get that to you soon, Pat.  My computer crashed but fortunately I hadn't yet made the list so I am working on it--when I'm not reading.   Smiley It'll be my Christmas present to you guys.

Listening to Heavenly Pleasures in the car right now. It takes place down under and is read by a English accent. Love it.

I would have to say the Twilight saga is very good I have read them all. My daughter got me started on them. The second movie out for the series is better then the first one I think.

I also like reading anything byt Sherrilyn Kenyon, Laurell K Hamilton, Lora Leigh, Charalene Harris are just a few of my favorites.

I like reading mystery stories and one of the latest ones I enjoyed is "The Cat, The Quilt and The Corpse: A Cats in Trouble Mystery" (Paperback) by Leann Sweeney.
It has all the elements I like.  Besides being a mystery, it is about a quilter who loves and owns cats.

REVIEW:  Sweeney (Pick Your Poison) launches the Cats in Trouble mystery series with a meandering whodunit. Jillian Hart is content making and selling cat quilts and living quietly in Mercy, S.C., with her three cats, Syrah, Chablis and Merlot. When Syrah is catnapped, Jillian finds not only the thief-thanks to a state-of-the-art alarm system installed by charming PI Tom Stewart-but also a murder mystery to solve. The cats are entertaining four-legged assistants, with traits like Chablis's human allergy and Merlot's ninja-style defensive tactics. Jillian's quirky neighbors also liven up the thin plot, particularly Tom, whose knack with alarms and computers comes in handy, and flamboyant deputy coroner Lydia Monk. Kitty-lovers will enjoy the feline trivia, but readers looking for a complex mystery will chafe at the slow pace and last-minute revelations.

I'm just finishing up the Cat, the Quilt, and the Corpse also. I like it for a number of reasons. I used to live in NC and my folks lived in Greeneville SC for a while. I like this sort of mystery and the heroine is both assertive, insightful and nosey. LOL Next will be Sister's Choice and that will finish up the books I bought at the B Dalton sale before Christmas. Off to the library this week, me thinks. Cheesy
