I might do needleturn.  I'm on jury duty this week, so I'm not doing anything until I'm finished.  I should find out tomorrow if I actually get on the jury.  If I do, the trial will last for 3 weeks finishing Sept 12.  ugh!

I actually got on the jury.  This is a long trial, but the judge promised us today that it would end on or before September 10th.  Ugh!  I will miss a third of September!

Holy Cow Cindy!!!!

my lawyer said if you get picked that is your civic duty for life...it's rare to get picked again.... your state thanks you... but they need to speed it up ... you have quilting to do!

i was up in the spring and sweated bullets ... did not get selected twice... i felt so lucky... i even appealed and they didn't care!

Dang Cindy, sorry for you. I know it's something we are suppose to do but what a bother.

Pat, I live in a very small area, everyone knows your business type of place. I was up for jury duty once, at the time I sewed for other people. I told the judge the reason why I couldn't sit was I was on a time limit for a sewing job. It being my income and the judge knew me, she let me leave. Just a side note, the same judge is now my attorney.

This is actually my third time to be on a jury.  We can be called every 10 years here and it has been 11 years since my last jury.  I really feel that 3 times is enough for one life.

OMG! Cindy that is horrible!!!  we don't have a time limit here.. BUT my attorney told me because we have so many people it's rare to get called again.... he knows how the names go into the pool.  Of course we can also get picked for Federal court (lovely eh?... those last too long!)

many corporations here will pay their employee's salary while on duty.. but us selfemployeed get no pity!

I FINALLY got to the copy shop to get my heart enlarged 200%, as I wasn't getting it to come out right for some reason on the copier at work. Traced, fused and cut out the center heart. LOVE IT so far! Can't find the camera though, so photo will have to wait til tomorrow! I'm tired-time for bed.

How much of that spot did you get Pat.  I am thinking I might use it in another colour way, I have a credit at an online shop down here and they have the lime spot... yum...

yeah Deb! The hardestpart of this project  is enlarging the pattern! I hate when publishers do that...it is very poor form.

I bought yards and yards of dots as i may want it in other projects. Just going to use it for applique in this quilt

i still have a few days before i play with this again...want to see my center develop!
