I just looked at all the fabric choices so far over on Flickr.  They are all so beautiful.  I feel a little wimpy just ordering a kit, but I'm still excited about the kit!

You are going to love the kit.. I have it up on the wall doing step by step photos and it's SO COOL!! That Fruitcake fabric is adorable! It's a nice size wall hanging or table topper (which is how I might use it)...

Hey, Pat, what about a blue and white charm pack? Would that work? What kind of support players would you recommend. Some of these are Chirstmas/snow like fabrics. So whadayathink? Huh

show us a photo... can you put it in the flickr group so it's a larger photo?

you'll need green and red for xmas applique or other colors for a non xmas... unless you just want ALL shades of blue/white/cream... and forget what shapes are

what's your thoughts on that?

blue white raspberry is nice... blue white mint.....

I pulled my batik charm pack and 3 probable fabrics for the quilt.  Have to go through the bin of batiks for the stems, etc.

I wanted a fall theme, but still wanted to use the holly applique.  I went online and bought my first charm pack ever.  It was so hard to decide, not being able to see it in person.  Bought a green to go with it (which turned out to be perfect).  Bought a couple of other things, but that is beside the point.  It came in the mail yesterday so today I went to the LQS and got fabric for the center and a companion fabric.  Here are my choices.

Very nice! they are such a reasonable price for such fun thing that you can not go wrong with a charm pack! the problem is always finding something to make as you have to add more fabric ....

unless you do my mat from my Fast Forward Quilts.. JUST ONE Charm pack used!
see it at my site.. it is fun to do!

Here's my Lucky charms pick. It's Robin Pandolph's Holly Go LIghtly, left over from a tree skirt I made a few years ago. I even have a border print that I never used.

Shocked   I'm so excited!  Roll Eyes  I just registered for the next 6 months of "Loose Change" at my LQS.  Each month we will get a charm pack and a pattern to make some great new quilts.  I made 8 of the last 12 and still have the leftovers - one of which is the batiks I will use for my Lucky Charms!

Really like all of your choices ladies - this will be so much fun, as usual, creating with PAT  Kiss
