I haven't touched the yarn lately, but now that it is getting colder I need to finish the neck warmer I started last winter. I hope I can figure out where I left off. I like Attic 24's stripey blanket. I am thinking of making one.

I'm thinking I need to get DD's cardigan back out. I hate that thing by now, but I have to finish it. I got the yarn in TN and we moved 6 yrs. ago.

I have a sleeveless shell that I started with a bamboo blend this summer...have almost the whole front done. I really should finish that so I can wear it next spring/summer. :-) But...there is a new crochet along that has just started that is making this beautiful, airy cardigan using microspun yarn. Looks like it would be just lovely to wear here at the office since they can never decide what temperature it's going to be...one day we are freezing our patooties off and need to wear mittens and scarves INSIDE...and the next we are risking being thrown in jail b/c we are stripping down to the barest minimum of clothing that we can get by with!

I made this buginarug cowl from berroco free patterns. It's so simple, so unique, even has 2 short clips showing how to do parts of it. It went so fast. I've never been so pleased with a free knitting pattern, and I needed something quick that I would finish. Go to free patterns at Berroco! http://www.berroco.com/item_fr/fr_top_ten.htmlBarb

I started it...it's all single crochet...just in the back half of the stitch so it makes a kind of ridge. If you use the self striping yarn, it looks really pretty with no effort. It's just a big rectangle with two short sewn seams...can't get much easier than that! C'mon....you can do it! I used chunky Rowan colorscape yarn (Kaffe Fassett) and a size K hook. I think I got this yarn when I was visiting the Stitching Post in Sisters, OR a couple of years ago. Barb

I live this half-granny shawl so may have to make one. I have a knitted afghan in works for son #2, a knitter sweater out of bamboo for me, and need to finish the handle of a felted bag so I can felt the whole thing. I can only work for short periods on knitting and crocheting as my bursitis and/or carpal tunnel acts up. Maye if I did not spend so much time on teh computer.........

Wanda, I'm with you... can't knit for too long, but it is my neck that acts up. I haven't done any crochet in a while for same reason. (Maybe a few granny squares would be ok?) I finished a sweater for DD#2 and think I will try and do one for DD#1 for Christmas. I am much better about finishing my yarn projects than I am with my quilty ones! LOL Happy stitching
