There are millions of free patterns for handwarmers online, and I've printed out hundreds of sock patterns. Socks are so addictive!
I made granny squares years ago, but I might have to make some more. It's a great stash buster, until you decide you need a few more colors, then a few more......
Last year I made a red cup warmer with a big white heart for valentines day- cute.

Pat Your pink torte is gorgeous!
I'm making a cowl for my SIL, and have to finish it before I work on hex's. And I had to finish a valentine wall hanging before I could work on the cowl.
I did start the challenge with blue stripes and light green triangles. Couldn't resist.

i'm doing 2 to 4 rows a night on my pink throw for my mom.. will get a photo in a bit when it's bigger... almost used first skein...2 more big ones!

Pat, I looked at the web site. That bag reminds me of a jacket my grannie made for me years ago. Grannie squares, white surrounding colors, and it's lined.  I have to look for it I think it's still around here somewhere.

I haven't used yarn to crocet in years. I have used thread to make lace edging though. Years ago I was making pillow covers with yarn of grannie squares.
