Very sorry for your mom's news. My sis is on her third bout of chemo. The tx. is worse than the CA at times. Sending good thoughts your way and your mom is also in my thoughts. I don't think anyone with a brain would expect you to put the BOM at the top of your list right now.

Dawn, Fabric projects, whether for fun or as part of work, can always be put "on the back-burner". Family health and well-being is just more important. I've been through it and know that no one expects you to keep up with your BOM when your mind is on your mom. Those quilting friends close to you will rally around and help out, too. Then when family health is balanced again, the fabric projects will all still be there. I will be thinking of you, along with many others, and wishing your mom well.

Yikes, between volunteer, family and work obligations I haven't even had a chance to pick out fabric! Hopefully next week will get back to normal and I can get started on the block before the next one becomes available!
