Thanks for the reminder, Pat. DGKs are here until noon or so. I'll catch up after that. I have to finish the embelishment on Jan., finish Feb., and start March, finish up the Olympic challenge. YIKEES I am behing.

I am making some crazy quilt blocks that are kinda my "calendar quilt project". I am decorating them with lots of fun buttons and stuff. They are sitting next door to your stocking project. :-) Since I am doing stockings in Christmas colors, maybe I should make my December crazy quilt block since I am working with Christmas fabrics. I could do that if I got off the computer, so I'll see you all later.......

I was on a quilt retreat this weekend, and I took my calendar quilt along and got all caught up.... through tomorrow~

I have had Feb done for a while, need to post a pic on flickr, but have not started March, I have all the strips cut its just a matter of sitting down and sewing when I can!

I'll post my crazy blocks later tomorrow. Are any of you watching the Academy Awards? It's "background" while I work on some projects. But if you are, or did watch, did you like that dance routine to the music that was nominated for Best Score? I thought it was crazy cool! I wish I could move like that! LOL!

Here's my February block. I put the last strip (on the bottom) on the wrong end ... so the block is now upside down. I didn't realize that until AFTER I did the heart applique. I'm probably the one person who will know but it puts the 2" blocks in the wrong place for dates ... prez day/Valentine's day ... oh well ... please don't tell anyone!

here's my calendar quilt strip - I had to loan it to "Sunbonnet Sue the Stripper" over the weekend for her costume....
Question:  Why did Sunbonnet Sue move to Las Vegas?
Answer: So she could join the Strippers Union!
