Francesca

My blocks arn't on flicker yet, gotta work on that hopefully today.  Instead of doing an actual quilt I am doing calenders for family members as an xmas present.  Each month I will be doing an 18x22 inch block using the appropriate amount of strips for that month. Then once all the blocks are done I will be pairing them togetherr to get six mini quilts then somehow not sure as yet I am going to bind them together to form an actual calendar. Each month I will be embelishing the days where a family member birthday, an anniversary, a holiday are. They will be perpetual calendars that can be used year after year since there are no Sun-Sat, just the dates. Not sure how else to explain them. LOL

Going to work on learning how to resize my pics!

Have a great day ladies, all your quilts are looking fab!

I just posted my January block on our flickr group.  It's all pieced, but now I need to add a few embellishments.  Woo-hoo!  Am not "really" behind on ONE project!  LOL   Grin

I finished my  January block too! (on time, woo-hoo)

I really like using the 2" squares (thanks, Mary).
(I wasn't sure if Mary meant 2" finished or not, but I decided to cut mine 2" and make it even smaller)

Now to figure out February!
