Did some 'Zen' cooking today.. wanted to think and I do that better if my brain can go do something else... so cook it was! Made a taco soup(basic recipe but changed it up and filled the whole gigantic crock pot).

also made 1/2 a batch cowboy cookies.. and wanted to get a bread dough into the fridge but that didn't happen.. so maybe on Sunday or Sat night for sunday!

BBQ short ribs in the slow cooker, with pineapple rice in the microwave...
I'll be in the studio today - it's too darn cold and windy to venture out, but I have to make a Panera's run!
Hoping to make the bags for my gift mugs today.
I have to get all my baking supplies made into goodies before my dh eats all my choco chips!

Made a pot roast with onion and carrots in the Crock Pot on Wednesday and served with mashed potatoes that night.  Tonight I am making leftover meat into green chili and making tacos with refried beans and Spanish rice (actually cooked rise with salsa stirred in).  Love the leftovers that way.  Karen

I had my left over lazagna b/c DH is still under the weather. Yesterday he turned up with a reaction to the antibiotic and had welts all over his body after his shower. Man, he has not been asleep for nearly 16 hrs. He is feeling punk. Poor guy.

I made something yummy by chance last night.  Itwas  one ofthose raid the pantry and see what happened.  I cooked penne in chicken stock and water, with minced garlic.  Then since Icouldn't get the jar of sauce open and was out of parmesain cheese, I tossed it with butter (margerine) and fetta.  Not Bad!!
