Jill those are fabulous tips!!!!  I am not sure if I'll get a zinger block started in the next few days... I'm hoping, otherwise early next week.. I have some serious deadlines and some teaching...

Can you point us to some of your project photos at your blog or flickr folders?

Hi Jill,  Where were you in AZ?  Tucson has 4 great shops (3 within 5 miles of my house) as well as some just north and south of town.  Karen

We were in New River, north of Phoenix. We came to Tucson, and I went to the Quilter's Market, and Quilt Basket while the guys went to the Pima Museum.

Then I went to Quiltz in Phoenix, and the Sedona Quilt store

Oh Goodness... you just had to put Red in the title didn't you!?!?!?! I want to play. I have been keeping my selvages since I started quilting again... so I probably have enough for a few blocks already...

I got some really great selvages today at my 4-patch posey class.  All 8 ladies gave me theirs and no one had the same fabrics.  My stash is growing!  Karen

Super awesome!!! Just before thanksgiving I'll try and get a exchange set up... so if you want to exchange... start cutting off ones to trade now and have some ready.

I'd say cut 1" or 3/4" strips to trade so the person receiving can trim down to what works for their project.   Length... maybe 9" would be shortest

My project for the blog hop is up now... how could you do that with selvages???

I have some selvages that I got from others, but can't use. They are heavier weight fabrics than quilters cotton. If you are the first to reply to this tread, and are willing to pay the postage, I will send them on their way to you!

I am happy to email a closer photo so you can see the fabric. I think it would be called canvas, but not sure.
