Here is my finished project for my Secret Elf. I know, it's bigger than a tea towel, but I loved making it and hope she loves it too.
It's Pat's design from the Irish Quilting magazine Smiley
I'm mailing it out tomorrow!!!

Here in Maryland there's a Festival of Trees every Thanksgiving weekend to raise money for a local organization......and all the trees are done in a "theme". This year there was a tree all done up in a pink princess theme!! And even better, you can buy the tree complete with decorations......take a road trip next year and check it out!

There were also trees done in a crabs, It's 5'o clock somewhere, and a Cover Girl makeup tree!

I've sent out my secret elf gifts! Sadly, I forgot to take a picture of them before I sent them... I meant to, really, but then forgot at the last minute.

My secret elf friend is getting
-a pincushion shaped like a mouse made from dark blue batik fabric
-a tea towel with a snowman's face appliqued onto it (my first applique project ever!)
-a small bag made from snowman fabric (same fabric as the FQ I sent)
-two jars of jam I made this summer, in place of candy. It's as sweet as candy, but was made with a lot more love than a Hershey's bar!

I hope she likes them!

Ok I have been thinking about a few things for my secret elf.  Here is what I have so far.  I am thinking I might take out the ornament and the scissor fob will have my Elf's name on it instead of mine.  Can't very well show the on with her name on it now can I???

Someone will be getting mulling spices, chocolate nut clusters, great smelling hand lotion, a quilted wall hanging themed for her, (I can't tell you without giving it away) and a FQ I hope she likes.

Hey there!!  I'd like to have your opinion.  I keep changing my mind on what I'd like to give my Secret Elf.

I was thinkingabut this but wasn't sure because it is for Fall and this is obviously Wnter.  If you were my Secret Elf would you mind getting this or would you rather have something Christmasy??  It's not completely finished, that is want I will be workig on today.  I really like it myself anytime of year but, of course, that's me...

Thanks for your opinion!!
