Hey, Pat, good idea except it was the host that cut the ad off. LOL I don't care. I'll repost in my own name. Bonnie is totally unaware that I am doing this.  Wink

I got my Secret Santa Elf mailed out on Friday. I hope my secret elf likes what I sent her. I thought of a lot more things I could have sent her after I mailed it.

I loved the fabric and the quilt pattern. The funny thing is she got them from kkepsake quilt shop ,which is only 30 min from my house and the chocolates are from Lundt,s chocolate factory which is about 1 hr from my house . Hello all you secret elves - I just want you to know that I've been keeping tabs on you even tho I'm not playing 'elf' with you at the moment - because I will be playing secret elf at a retreat coming up soon, and the ideas you've been sharing are a major inspiration!  thank you, thank you, for so many delightful trinket ideas!

I was the lucky recipient of spicykathy's awesome turtle!! He's TOO cute. I have to find a place of honor for him to sit where I can see him while I sew. You can't see him very well in the picture that I took, but she already posted an excellent picture of him. He's the Christmasy one with the red plaid body and the green shell.

She also sent me:
-a container of mini chips-ahoy (which my father got into last night when he was visiting)
-a bag of holiday M&M's (which *I* got into this morning)
-a magnetic list pad of paper with a snowman on it (Christmas lists!)
-a smiling bendable flower
-a purple-ish FQ with smiling flowers (that match the bendy-flower! Too cute)
-a bag of square purple and green buttons
-a pattern for the "couch potato quilt", which looks AWESOME, but will have to wait until all my Christmas projects are finished (at the rate I'm going, this will be sometime in July)
-a tiny quilt in a bag kit, which will be great because it's got triangles in it and I wanted to learn to sew triangles in a quilt!

Everything was wrapped beautifully and the box had shiny red ribbon thingies in it (you can see some in my picture). I'm saving the wrapping paper to reuse on some of MY Christmas presents and I'll have to find a package to put the ribbons in, too.

I had the best Secret Santa Elf EVER!!

Sorry if this is posted twice. I tried to post it, but my picture file was too big, so I tried again and it told me I had already posted it.

ETSY is the best place to shop when you're running tight on time!  Not sure I know how to add a picture, but I will try!

So if you get the gift, please don't think that I didn't love you enough to make something, I just didn't want you to be waiting until hell freezes over...

YEAH!! I have received my Elf package.  THANK YOU!   Actually I received it Monday night when I got home but I had dinner with a friend and didn't get home until 9:30 and didn't open the box until Yesteday after work.  Now that I've taken a picture to showyou all...

Yeah, yeah!!  The theme is chocolate!!  A chocolate chip cookie in a tin, a fat quarter with mini chocolate candy bars on it, another pretty fat quarter, 3 boxes of Mrs. Field's chocolate candies with 3 chocolates in each box, two little mini post card like things and a "Quirky Qilts" book.  Love it all!  The book has several neat projects.  THANKS!!!  Oh yes, there was also a card which I forgot to put in the photo.

OK, here is the one I am sending out today.  I hope you enjoy and like it my secret Elf friend.  There is a Cadbury Almond chocolate bar, two fat quarters, a little snowman dish, a Chocolate, Marshmallow & caramel santa, 4 small fairy panels, a christmas pillowcase - it's regular size, just folded in the pic. and a post card.  I love to make those fabric post cards.

Oh yes....  I forgotto mention the name of my Secret Elf - the one who sent to me.  It was Jennifer Wilkerson!!  THANK YOU Jennifer!
