I have so many projects to complete this year.  I uploaded some photos to Flickr but cound not get all photos to load.  My 'worktable' is also the family ping pong table and the family will want it back. Lots of table runners and wall hangings to work on. Also, I have been watching Monk while quilting, which slows me down.  Can't miss the last episode!! (you can see Monk on the tv in the photo)
To top it all off, the woman who longarms my big quilts just brought me two that need to be bound.  Another one will be done on the 15th, so everything else has to be done by then.  The person receiving that last quilt is visiting on the 16th.
I need to get back to work.

Ok, it is a commercial.  I need a suggestion on what to do with the 'quilt as you go' striped Christmas Tree runner.  It needs something, but I am not sure if I can quilt it now that I have bound it.  Gotta go...........

Yoohooo just finished teachers cookie bags now all I have to do is bake the cookies to go in them.  Tomorrow it is onto the wine/oil bags yeah and then I am done.  Had a couple of helpers today which wasn't really good for getting things done quickly ended up making a bag for my daughter as well because she wanted to help.

I posted a picture of my disaster of a living room, and three excuse pictures as to why it looks like that. By the end of the weekend it will be ready for Santa. I also have a quilt that needed last border and quilting done that I forgot to take a pic of and now it is pin basted and on the machine to quilt for tomorrow... I will show an after pic at least.

Love the cookie bags! Did you do machine embroidery or by hand ? Your own design?
Very cute!

The snow looks pretty.  We already have abut 4 inches here in central PA.  Hubby started a fire and we are going to watch football while I hand sew the binding on the blooming nine patch.
Deadlines are wonderful motivators!

pat, you can have my snow.  I'll upload apic to flicker when the munchkin and daddy make a snowman like he promised her.  The "mall" ( I don't know if 15 stores in a building can really count as a mall) is having a kid holiday fest, so we might go to that if I ever get the man up.  The girls and I made the first round of cookie dough, it's cooling in teh fridge time #1, I will have to roll it out, add chocolate to it, roll it up, recool and then cook.  We'll make more closer to bake time since the next batch doesnt have to chill at all.  I also ran out of binding for two projects! TWO! JoAnns here I come, again when the man gets up because I refuse to drive in the snow before they plow/sand!

The embroidery on the cookie bags is done by hand.  It is one of the stitcheries from Natalie Lyman's (Cinderberry Stitches) new christmas quilt pattern.  The pattern has iron transfer's for the stitchery so I just ironed a couple of extra's for the cookie bags, you can do quite a few before they run out (well I have done 3 and they are still clear)

Go ladies! My progress has been slow today. I got 10 pincushions ready yesterday to stuff, but the kids are mine today. And we got lots of snow!! We shovelled yesterday, the neighbour was out plowing today. It looks like we will get our share after all. So, hubby is away today and this is the first chance I've had to sit - while waiting for homemade pizza to cook Smiley Laundry, vacuuming, sweeping done. No pics here though - I don't enjoy showing housework!
I started my Christmas cards yesterday and wow! I really don't like doing them Embarrassed I plan to finish them at least tonight? I found my big bag of batting to cut up too.
Getting nervous I won't have enough time to be organized for my Sew In on Monday. Maybe during football tomorrow I'll get some time.
Oh yeah, I also pushed the stroller to the mall to get groceries and cat food. And made a bag from the green bag lady website. Have you heard of her? www.greenbaglady.com. She is in the Sew, Mama, Sew giveaway blitz this weekend.
I will post pictures - after pizza! Grin

Keep me motivated ladies!
