My love of mysteries started with Nancy Drew, I can't remember the names of many of the others I have enjoyed. I have read some of the ones mentioned by others. Kathy

Is Monk one? If not Nancy Drew. She was the first independent female I read about back in the stone age.

I have to say there is nothing like a winter day with a warm fire, a cup of Joe and an Emilie Richards mystery.....but I really like a few others too...Thanks for the chance.

I will always remain loyal and true to Nancy Drew!! I read all of her books, and then I went back and read them again! Thank you for the opportunity to be entered into this contest.

I will always have a fond spot for Trixie Belden. I love to read so many different authors and sleuths that it's hard to pick just one favorite. I love Stephanie Plum, Amelia Peabody, Beni Harpur just to name a few. Sue

It's a toss up for me between Benni Harper and Stephanie Plum.

My favorite sleuths are Stephanie Plum, Emilie Richards, and laura Childs. Benni Harper is also a good one. I love to read and drink a cuppa flavored hot tea. It makes me feel so cozy.

I love so many characters - Stephanie Plum, Alexandra Cooper, Joanna in Chochise County, AZ, and always enjoyed the Bobsie Twins, Nancy Drew, and so many others. Karen

My favorite amateur sleuths are the "Happy Hollisters" a delightful book series by Jerry West I had discovered several years back that I read to my son. We spent many hours enjoying the series of books! The Hollister siblings seem to have something to sleuth out wherever they go!

I love Stephanie Plum. Dare I say I've never read Emilie Richards - I will have to look for her books on Amazon UK.
