Hello out there - this is my first swap. Am looking forward to getting involved. I've been sewing for years and just finished a "Come Around For Coffee" table topper idea I found on the Cross Country Christmas Blog Hop. Since finding this blog in early November I have been amazed or should I say, AMAZED!!! at the amount of blogs and the ideas and inspiration in them. I'm sitting on the fence about creating one myself - heading back to a full time job on January 20th - so my time would be limited. I sip coffee in the mornings and just hop from blog to blog...now time to get busy!
Up to my sewing quarters to come up with a creative idea for Linda from Napa Valley....

yuppers, I'm with Pat. Now that I've gotten use to the forum format I don't want to go back to any other method of keeping up with everyone. Just so convenient. I also love the notify on Pat's forum especially, it lets me manage what I am notified of. WOO HOO!

Oh Margi!! Have been busy over the weekend so I just checked email and found out who my partner was. Then came over to the forum and saw your post where you'd forgotten the "secret" part. I laughed out loud because I'd wondered about that when I saw the content of my email!! Now I'm sitting here giggling because the words of a song that was popular in my mother's time keeps running through my head. Wonder what it is??? "Now my secret love's no secret anymore" Doris Day!! LOL!! Everybody hum along!!! My partner must be a very brave soul. From Margi's email she left herself open to receiving anything. Well, I've already pretty much figured out what little specials she'll be getting with her quilt. Things that I myself really enjoy!!! This is going to be such fun! Now I'm off to shop for fabric!!! Hope she enjoys her quilt! Hugs all from cold Louisiana!! Everybody stay warm - particularly my partner!!! Lisa

Hey Margi, what can I say? I'm so unique you have to "'nique" up on me! Giggle! Nowwwww I shout it from the highest hill..........even told the golden daffodils........
Just ordered my fabric and it should be here in a few days. Know that sounds funny, but why drive 50+ miles one way when I can sit here and order online and chill out (pardon the pun!) with Brie & Rebel (our poodle & cat). It's just too cold to get out!! DH is gone to Wal-Mart to pick up some groceries. Is this guy well trained or what!!??!! He's definitely a keeper!!
In the meantime I can get the goodies to go in my package. Will do that tomoorrow. Already know what I'm going to do!! Dear partner, you're gonna luv this!!!! How's that for a tease??? I had such fun picking the fabric. Started out with one idea and ended up going in a different direction. I am seriously in trouble on this one as I already know that I'm going to have to get DH to pry this little quilt out of my fingers in order to mail it. I haven't even started stitching on it and I already want to keep it for my greedy self!!!!
Dang it's too cold to be having this much fun! Am I hung up on the unseasonable cold we're having in Louisiana???

Hi All!
I am Dianah in California. I didn't give my wonderful partner as much information as she gave me so I am here to help her out. I love Dove Dark Chocolate and those horrible (I eat them all) Mint Premium M&M's. I am a diet Pepsi drinker from 4am to 10pm. If I drink coffee it is cold and love flavored iced tea. I love brights and anything black and white when it comes to fabric. I love the look of applique but don't do it.
I have been swapping for 3 years and this is my first for this year. I can't wait to see all the wonderful things we all make.

http://jennydoh.typepad.com/crescendo/2010/01/hearts-on-a-pouch.htmloh Pat, that is just the kutest pouch and I love the blog, subscribed to it. Oh my Google Reader is so busy for me. LOL Lisa, you so crack me up. Did you see that little pouch Pat found! Holy smokes, it is so kewl! Hi Dianah! Something about those crazy Mint Premimum M&Ms huh? The girls I work with hated them and I mowed them all down and I'm not a big mint fan but I sure am a big M&M fan. Peanut especially! YUMMO!

Hey, I must be your mother's age. I remember seeing Doris in all her movies. She always has been an animal activist too. Her good friend was Rock Hudson and back in the day no one knew he was gay. She remained his good friend when he became sick from aids. She dropped out of the movie scene quite early on. Remember Pillow Talk. Bing it if you must! LOL I'm enjoying eveyrone's Valentine vicariously. I lol when the 'secret' swappers were sent to each other. That is something I would have done. And my secret love's no secret anymore - I love you guys!

I personally don't care how big the bag is, M&Ms will never last me more than a day! No way, no how! They tell me to eat them all the time so I have to accommodate! Right!?!?!
