After not noticing that my nick here is "QuilterKitts"...I'm Deborah, but that name was taken.  Oops for not mentioning it earlier!

Snow, sleet rain mix predicted for this area tonight and tomorrow.  Hope that you all don't get lots of snow, Pat and Mary I think you all have enough!

YIPEE! Not only am I feeling better (thanks to Cipro), but I am listening to your latest broadcast from Leisure Arts, PAT! It's all thanks to you telling me to click on the little arrow. LOL. How ignorant can one person be? Anyway I'm stuck on my busy, low contrast Camp SLoanie block/quilt. I need to decide what near solid color to use in the corners of my last section of the quilt. I'll try and get a pic up if I can later this a.m. I'm going to the eye Dr. this a.m. to check on my gloucoma. I never miss that appt. Our eyes are sooo important to our quilting and enjoyment. I've said before I'd rather go deaf than blind. Of course, then I wouldn't get to hear Pat's radio show. Just kidding. Wink

OK, I've taken a quickie picture of the mini quilt ready to sew the blocks together.  These are really cool...I put 6 of the 1" strips together and then did trim them down.  I used my Quilt in a Day Square up ruler from Eleanor burns, but realized after trimming a few down that I needed to center the ruler and cut evenly off both sides or I'd lose a srip :-).  Not that you notice it anyway...it's very forgiving!  If someone notices, they're too close to my quilt eh? LOL

Hmmm....Pat, that Winter challenge looks like a great idea!  I do have multiple UFO's that need a boost!  I'll dig around in my UFO pile and do some assessing and may join you on that one!!  Thanks for keeping us motivated!  I so need that.

Well I'm still at Camp Sloanie.  The branch manager closed the whole office today, so another day of sewing.  Doesn't look too good for tomorrow, at least getting to work on time.  More snow this weekend and Monday is a holiday.  Hope I can get to the local quilt shop so I can pick up a few coordinates.

I loved the Camp Sloanie block for the baby quilt.  It worked perfectly.  I'm going to put a narrow inner border and then a row of small pinwheels all the way around.

Here's the red, white and blue scrap quilt.  So far today an apple cake for DH's b'day tomorrow, an apple pie in the oven, good progress done on the R/W & B quilt and the base for the baby quilt.  Next is down to the basement to quilt a wall hanging.  You'd think with all this sewing I'd be running out of projects, NOT!!!

Daisy,
I just love that bright baby quilt!  What a good idea.
And the RWB is spectacular!
I've had to go back to quilting my guild's raffle quilt, after a glorious three days off with Camp Sloanie, so I won't be producing anything for awhile, but I'll jump right in as soon as it's finished!

Hi Pat, Flicker and to post on your forums is new to me. Please forgive any mistakes I make getting things to the right places.
I posted my UFO on the Flicker pages. I'm hoping to get out to LQS to get the rest of fabric needed today! The fabric was in my stash for 4yrs! Think I'll find something to go with it? I did your Camp, but was unable to post pics, computer working today, Yea!. The result is the Tent Flap Star I posted. Now to decide about the flowers and center block.
