I'm feeling very dumb right now..have an emailed picture, but can't figure how to upload it to Flickr. I'll be on my computer in a few minutes will try again. (On my son's laptop now)
Pat, I've been thinking of you. I hope you have plenty of groceries, electricity and lots of sewing to do! deborah

I'm feeling very dumb right now..have an emailed picture, but can't figure how to upload it to Flickr. I'll be on my computer in a few minutes will try again. Be sure to check out Pat's tutorial!! Personally, I download (SAVE) the attachment from an email to my desktop so I can find it easily. After I have opened it and done any changes, i.e., resize, crop, or whatever, I "Save as" a new name and then you can go to flickr and Upload it to your files before you then add it to the appropriate group. Hope this will help you.

Thanks so much for all the help - had no problem after I loaded it up on my computer:) Not a very exciting quilt, but I have plenty of 2 1/2" strips cut, and think I can add a punch by adding a little applique to some of the blocks.
Going now to sew my Tent Flaps together and figure out the borders.
Thanks so much for the motivation Pat! deborah

First of all, what is a PIG? lol
I'm in for the challenge. Although I have several projects that I have already posted on my blog that I need to finish this month, I had to choose another UFO for the Camp Sloanie Winter Olympic Challenge. It's probably the most beautiful quilt I own and it's packed away in a UFO box.
What better time to try to finish it during the Olympics.
It's late, but I will post photos of it tomorrow in the flickr group.

Panting as I run post hast to the starting line!!!! Phew!! Hope it's not too late to join since it IS Feb. 12th now...is this early in the morning still OK to get in on the challenge before the Olympics start? LOL After all, Vancouver is three hours behind me!! I've just posted a picture of my Menopause quilt that I need to finish. I want to enter it into the local Plowing Match show in May as the Plowing (or is it Ploughing??) Match is in my own county in September! This was a block of the month program called "Ode to Aging" that I finished years ago. I'd like to make the quilt for my spare bedroom (I don't want my guests to sleep too much ROFLOL). I'm off to do a blog post and see if I can figure out how to add Pat's button to my blog. My blog link is: http://treadlequilts.blogspot.com/but give it a little while til I have a chance to get the post up :-). I'll tell the funny story about buying the border fabric on my blog. Dennis...LOVE your stories about your grandmothers!! So sweet!! Thanks Pat for challenging us to get ourselves in gear to keep going! Jacqui in Canada

I'm in for the weekend. I have a Valentine's runner that I want to finish - I only did everything EXCEPT quilt it last year It's in flickr now, I'm using freezer paper this morning to guide my quilting. This is the step I always procrastinate on. I want it done for Monday. Call it an early event. Love the pics on flickr and will cheer others on - once I reach my own deadline! Eh, O Canada Go uh oh - the toddler wakes

OK! I'm psyched! I have a really OLD UFO called Betsy Ross Sampler from a McCall's magazine pattern in 2003 -- ancient! I have posted a picture of it on the Flickr page, but here's a picture of the blocks that have sat in my sewing basket for lo, these many years!

A nonquilting friend has asked me to help her finish (IE: finish it for her LOL) an unfinished grandmothers flower garden quilt that she inherited from her grandmother. I am off to see it this morning and decide what we are going to do with it. does finishing someone elses UFO count?? I will have to get some pics of it. I already posted one UFO, but maybe I can get this done too! Such fun!

I just posted the photo of my "Blue Moon" that I started before the Winter Camp. I have been sewing the curved circles together (photo to follow soon) and will then put the top together.
The quilt I made for my GD and her Hubby needs hanging sleeve so will add that and also make a label for her Zig and Zag quilt - photos to follow.
Have lots to do during the Olympics and am anxious to see the Opening Show tonight. Will have NBC on a lot and watch while I sew - Love so many of the sports so will be lots of fun.
Off to photo and get going. Also have to prepare my scraps and travel bag with sewing machine and Accu Go for fun scrap sew in at LQS tomorrow. Owner called last night and said I made it from the "wait list" to the "Please come List!" She is such a great lady. Karen
