My coasters and towel are all finished but I won't show a photo yet cause I don't want Lynn to see them before she gets them!!   Roll Eyes

Putting the package together to mail on Monday.  This has been fun again, as usual.  Love these swaps.

We are heading into spring here with highs to 80 by midweek.  Another month and it will get close to 100!!   Tongue

We have had lots and lots of rain so catching up a little bit.  Wild flowers will be gorgeous the end of the month.  The desert has a lovely green carpet in the wild and everything is growing like mad.  The weed man came last week between rains and spayed so hope we don't have too many in all of our rock work around the house.  Only Mother Nature plants our garden/yard.

TY Wendy. Oh Karen I'm so jealous! It's been raining here, even with all the rain we still have a bunch of snow in our yard! It's going to flurry Mon & Tues then again on Sun! BUMMED!!!!!!!   NO MORE SNOW!!!!!!!! We are suppose to have 3 days this coming week in the 50's can't wait! Taking a lawn chair and sitting in the sun even if I have to put it in a pile of snow! With all the rain & the snow melting we are on flood watch.  So glad I live on the top of the mountain! Think Spring!!!!!!!

Send some sunshine north please!!!!!!!

DD brought out the Girl Scout cookies yesterday after I took DGD to the Alice movie. Oh, Oh, here comes all that weight (7+#s) I took off since the New Year! DD said you have a new, bigger freezer. Freeze them. That is a good idea. Roll Eyes

HI Karen. I see you are online. I'm excited to get a package from you in the mail! I love packages. I even delight over the free greeting cards in the junk mail!

You know, dark chocolate isn't candy, it a vitamin!!! Dr. Weil even says so!

My swappee's package was mailed out on Friday.  Can't say who she is, but it went half way across the country and I'm in LA, so that means either East or West!

I sure hope she likes what I sent her.  I have absolutely NO idea why we obsess so much over what we send, but I did and I get tickled to see that I wasn't the only one.  I raise my hand and own up to it.  I obsessed.  Would she like it??  Would she have preferred another one of the appliques???.........  Huh  I know we all do our best, but we make it so much harder than it is and don't enjoy it near as much as we should.  If we have fun making the project and sew it like we were making it for ourselves (and I can say yes to both things), who can complain??  So I'm resolved to quit obsessing on our swaps and just dive in and have a blast!!!  This one was fun and I'm already thinking about the next one!  I think I'm addicted to swaps... Grin

I'm certainly looking forward to getting my little package in!  And before I even made the 4 coasters, I had to make one as a "test run" and I gave it to my husband!!  He really liked it.  Smart guy!

Hugs to everyone!

Lisa, I totally agree with you ... will she or won't she like it???  If I make it to may likes, does any one else like it like I do  Undecided    Roll Eyes  In the end, like you, I make something I think it would be cool to receive and know I did my best.

I, too, am getting addicted to these swaps and can't wait for the next.  Grin

Have a super evening!

You all make it so fun!!!

you can tell I'm tired... I read 'I'm in LA'.. thinking Los Angeles CA... and wondering how half way across the country could be EAST OR WEST... My brain worked really hard on that one until I saw that the post was from LISA!!!! ROLFOL!!!

Note to self.. FIRST see who the poster is before trying to figure out stuff!

HELLO Spring Flingers!  Bet you thought I was lost huh!  Nope just swampled with a big work consolidation and early construction of my new computer room and office!  I'm stoked about it but it sure does take up a lot of time especially since I'm not the one actually building it! LOL
I just sent out a reminder email to everyone on mailing requirements and suggested timelines.  Sounds like from the chatter here that we're all on schedule!  Gotta love that.
I've always thought when doing swaps that if I love what I'm making then the I'm 99% sure that the recipient will love it as well!  You all rock so what isn't to love right!
Big hugs.
