My silver Miata had a license frame which reads "Quilters Cover You With Love" but had to take it off last year as the law now requires the state name be seen and the frame covered "Arizona" - so sad to take it off.  The plate itself is "WAT FUN" - love my Miata too!!

Sewing/quilting has always been my meditation!!

Always happy when sewing!

A few years ago I asked my husband for a personalized plate for my birthday......it says "SEWHAPY" because I am always happy when I'm sewing. :-)  I thought about "SEWCRZY" because sometimes I am crazy for sewing but I like being happy more than I like being crazy. :-)  Would you believe that some people read my plate as "See Whapy" and then ask me what it means?!  One of those people was the community ed director that I worked for as a quilting instructor. Funny what our eyes see, isn't it?

Thank you Pat for the wonderful package of Liberty fat quarters.  I really love the fabrics and can't wait to work up a project with them.  The wide gold rick-rack you used to tie up the package will also find its way into something!  Thanks again for your wonderful challenges and the forum you provide.--Barbara

Pat, do you have any of the Paris kits left?  I am especially interested in another 1/2 yard of the yellow fabric.  If you do, I will order it when I order my iron and some Liberty fabrics.

Decided to make it a 2 or 3 panel with our trip to Edinburgh and London in 1988!

The Paris block looks great!  It is to celebrate our 20th anniversary.  We spent 9 days in Paris in September and it rained from the day we arrived until noon the day before we flew home.  No worries, we still walked everywhere and took the subway.  A great city to walk!

Here is a photo of the block.  I have not done any stitching or embellishments yet.
