The quilt is awesome and I'm guessing that if the stars are off as you say, that no one will notice.  It all looks good to me! Like Pat, said....nobody is judging it. I am sure it will warm the heart and soul of whoever receives it.

good luck pat... i don't think i could do as much writing as you do!  Hope you do get a chance to sew this weekend.

Got the shop hop quilt done yesterday, but forgot to ask her if i could post a pix... it is beautiful!  I just love the colors.... I'll call her later to day a post again if its ok.

Weekends have been so busy with church activities and grandson so today will be my sewing day... March's scrapmania thangles need to be done and I'm still working on the March Vicksburg BOM... Have the buds and leaves left to do.  And a customer is scheduled to come by either this afternoon or tomorrow with 3 quilts to be done.... so it looks like next week will be busy

Hi all,

I have finished my secret project for my application to the creative team and sent it off for judging.  Who knows how I will go.  I took it with me to sewing group at my local quilt shop to finish the binding and they were pretty impressed so hopefully it will be up to scratch.  Just got myself a bamboo tablet for drawing in eq and have been practicing on a new quilt pattern, it is heaps easier to draw with than a mouse.  I am now working on another wool bag for an order.  I have been putting it off all through summer but now that autumn is here and we are actually getting some autumn weather I have been feeling like working with wool again.  I will post a picture when it is all finished.

Your going to love the tablet! I've used a wacom tablet and pen for 12 yrs.. could not LIVE without it!! I rarely mouse.. but do use the pen with my right hand and mouse with my left for certain things... sometimes at the same time... LOL!

see my chippie on my porch today... cracks me up!

I hope I can get in on the live chat. Is there a topic?
This afternoon I'm taking DGD (the first place winner in the science fair) to the movie and yes, Pat, it is Alice we are seeing. LOL I just thought to invite her b/c of your interest. So thanks again, Pat, for the inspiration. Possibilities and Doing it. Maybe some sewing today.

What are you doing this Sunday afternoon?? It's day 3 of rain.... which is better than the power outages in PA and NJ!
