How was it? Dennis LOVES Brunswick stew. We go to a BBQ place here for him to have it. He would be ecstatic if I learned to make it.

Cindy I thought it was pretty darn good! But I made a HUGE amount of changes.. followed a lot of the comments.. biggest changes
Prego sauce that was left instead of ketchup no creamed corn, some peas left over, kidney beans, sm can of corn and butter beans chicken, sausage and turkey kilbasa added about 1/2 cup of red wine
it had a more smokey flavor.. I was freaking in the beginning as it tasted too sweet.. but after 8 hrs in the crockpot it was not sweet anymore.
I'd say give it a try! Maybe 1/2 it... not sure what the cream corn would do but lots of people just did one can

I did make those cupcakes ... have 2 left, want to come over for coffee? They were/are FAB-O.
Corned beef in the crock pot - nothing fancy - a few potatoes and carrots in the bottom, corned beef on top, cover with water. Sew for 8 hours, dinner's ready!

My favorite roast--Place the roast in the crockpot. Then sprinkle a pkg of dry italian dressing mix, a pkg of ranch dressing mix, and a pkg of brown gravy mix. The add 1-2 cups water or chicken broth. Cook 6-7 hours.
It will smell so good that your mouth will water all day. We either have hot roast beef sandwiches or just the meat with veggies the first night. Then I use the leftovers for shepherd's pie. Yum!

I know I do chicken in the crockpot, but I'm blank. I can only think of chicken soups at the moment.

In a minute here I'm going to put spaghetti sauce in my crockpot and let it simmer all night for homemade pizza tomorrow. I use a bread machine for the dough, as I'm much too lazy to knead bread myself. I'm also doing cinnamon rolls tonight so we can eat them in the morning. I'm planning a bunch of food for the last day before kids go back to school.......woohooo! I'ts POURING down rain this weekend so no bbq in our forecast.

Just served sloppy joes to about 30 ppl tonight - a HUGE pot - 48 buns went in 10 minutes.... not a canned recipe, mind you - made from scratch!
I'll have the leftovers in the crock pot for tomorrow night.
with peach cobbler for dessert.
